On February 9, 2021 (12:00 Beijing Time), CHASING Innovation officially released the new-generation industrial-grade underwater robot Gladius P200. Designed specifically for industry users, the Gladius P200 will be widely applied in various professional scenarios, including underwater emergency rescue, hydropower and water conservancy, scientific research and exploration, ship hull and dock inspection, and fishery aquaculture.
Hybrid Power Supply for Truly Unlimited Endurance
The Gladius P200 breaks through the limitation of underwater robot operating time by battery capacity for the first time. Following the innovation of fast detachable/replaceable batteries, it now features an AC direct power supply system. When connected to municipal power, ship power, or a generator, the AC system provides continuous power to the underwater robot, enabling long-duration operation and uninterrupted tasks in the true sense.
In scenarios such as aquaculture and underwater engineering monitoring, the underwater robot equipped with the AC power supply system can perform continuous monitoring, ensuring the efficient completion of production and construction tasks. For time-critical missions like underwater search and rescue, the AC system supports uninterrupted operation, helping to seize the crucial "golden 72 hours" of rescue by avoiding any wasted time.

Enhanced Power for More Complex Waters
The Gladius P200 is equipped with 150W motors, representing a 50% upgrade compared to the previous generation of industrial underwater robots. It achieves a maximum speed of 2 meters per second, resists currents up to 4 knots in all directions, and offers stronger load capacity. With an 8-thruster full-vector layout, the Gladius P200 enables 360° omnidirectional movement. It can dive to a maximum depth of 150 meters and operate within a maximum horizontal radius of 400 meters, supporting long-duration and long-distance missions.
The Gladius P200 integrates a 4K/12-megapixel EIS anti-shake camera, 4000-lumen LED lights, detachable/replaceable batteries, and a pluggable Micro SD card. Its compact aluminum alloy body weighs less than 6KG and can be rapidly deployed by a single operator in just 3 minutes, making it a lightweight, user-friendly, and reliable light industrial-grade underwater robot.
Versatile Payloads for Diverse Applications
In addition to compatibility with universal accessories such as robotic arms, searchlights, and laser calipers, the Gladius P200 supports a range of exclusive advanced accessories for the Gladius series, including a high-brightness screen control box, AC power supply system, multi-interface expansion dock, 700Wh battery, USBL underwater positioning, multi-beam imaging sonar, and external cameras. Its excellent external expandability and accessory compatibility allow the Gladius P200 to mount and operate multiple accessories simultaneously, perfectly meeting the diverse needs of different application scenarios.
The Gladius P200 can be equipped with multi-beam imaging sonar to scan large underwater areas and transmit image data in real time. Sonar scanning is particularly useful in low-visibility waters or when large-scale scanning is required to locate targets. In dark or turbid water, sonar identifies underwater structures to assist with ship hull and dam inspections; during search and rescue operations, it generates images through large-scale scanning to detect potential targets; and in scientific research, it locates predefined objectives to replace divers for visual verification.

The Gladius P200 supports the USBL underwater positioning system, which, when paired with CHASING’s independently developed unmanned surface vessel (USV), uses triangulation to feedback the robot’s real-time underwater position and trajectory, enabling easy underwater positioning and navigation. The CHASING high-brightness screen control box allows operation of the underwater robot and all accessories with clear visibility even in sunlight, and its ergonomic button layout ensures professional and convenient control. The Gladius P200 can be optionally fitted with an ultra-long 400-meter communication cable for remote operation and a laser caliper for precise underwater distance measurement.
Beyond the above accessories, CHASING Innovation will continue to develop and launch more exclusive advanced accessories such as external cameras and anti-grounding sonar to meet the needs of more industrial applications, fulfilling its vision of "making underwater exploration simple."
Since its establishment, CHASING Innovation has been committed to its mission of "becoming the premier underwater solutions expert and providing customers with the most intelligent products and services," while actively fulfilling social responsibilities.
