In the era of rapid technological development, water intelligent rescue technology has become a frontier for innovation and exploration. On November 9, 2024, the 2024 China First Water Intelligent Search and Rescue Competition, hosted by the China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association and organized by the Public Security and Emergency Rescue Branch, was grandly held in Xiamen. From 30 teams that registered in the early stage, seven outstanding rescue teams were selected to participate, including the Shandong Marine Disaster Emergency Rescue Center, the Special Service Brigade No. 3 Station of Xiamen Fire Rescue Detachment, the Xiongying Rescue Team, the China Special Operations Rescue Team, the Ganqing Commando, the Chasing Innovation Underwater Intelligent Rescue Team, and the Shuguang Rescue Team.

The competition venue was set in an open sea area with low-visibility underwater conditions, which undoubtedly put extremely high demands on the perception, positioning, and operation capabilities of participating teams and intelligent water equipment. This intense competition aimed to comprehensively evaluate the application capabilities of water intelligent search and rescue technology in complex environments.
In the "Cabled Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) Search and Positioning" category, the Ganqing Commando used the Chasing M2 Pro X100 underwater drone to locate the target within the specified time and shoot clear videos, achieving excellent results.

In the "Cabled ROV Search and Rescue" category, the Xiongying Rescue Team operated the Chasing M2 Pro X100 underwater drone for the first time and successfully found the target within 10 minutes, then lifted it to the designated surface area using a mechanical arm, winning the victory. The China Special Operations Rescue Team also achieved excellent results in multiple competitions using the newly released Chasing M2 Pro X100 intelligent omnidirectional anti-current underwater drone.
